Mission: The chapter is an affiliate of the association of fundraising professionals, an association of professionals throughout the world which advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. The core activities through which this chapter fulfills this mission include education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing and advocacy.
Programs: National philanthropy day recognizes the great contributions of philanthropy and those active in the philanthropic community. Npd celebrates the endless daily contributions individuals and organizations across the world make to countless causes and missions. Ask the experts is a one-day conference on fundraising. The conference provides several sessions covering a variety of topics related to fundraising, marketing, communications and research. Afp provides education courses, workshops, monthly meetings, newsletters, and website maintenance on fundraising issues.
