Causes: International, International Academic Exchange
Mission: The purpose of the association of the world travel exchange, inc. (awte) is to promote international understanding between the peoples of the united states and peoples of other parts of the world through experiential educational programs.
Programs: 2a. The awte operates an educational program under the name: international counselor exchange program (icep), through which young people from around the world are given the opportunity to be counselors in children's camps throughout the united states, then go on travel tours or share time with host families in the us. 2b. The awte operates an international youth hostel under the name: international student center. The youth hostel offers young people from across the world dormitory-styled accommodation for which it currently charges fees per night.
