ACEP has been a major supporter of my EFT work with thousands of young adult genocide survivors in Rwanda including providing grants for: 1) our train-the-trainer programs; 2) implementing Project LIGHT: Rwanda - a new form of humanitarian aid based on EFT designed to nurture our next generation of traumatized young people to heal, work and lead us into a peaceful future; 3) and, providing funding for our documentary chronicling our success in Rwanda as well as Newtown, CT for survivors of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. ACEP is a highly professional organization where Science, Healing, Compassion and Professionalism meet.
I am a Licensed Social Worker founding member and past-president of ACEP . This non profit organization places education, research, humanitarian efforts, and ethics as its priority. Hundreds of committed volunteers have taken newer treatments that integrate energy and psychotherapy to respected modalities that truly serve the public.
I first encountered energy testing/medicine/psychology in the early 90s with a chiropractor to find where my body needed the most help and then again with a psychologist a few years later. I had forgotten how effective it was until pursuing a doctorate in psychology durning the mid 2000s when a professor reintroduced "tapping" and talked about ACEP. Attending my first conference in 2007, I found a home. While the presentations were excellent, the members open and supportive, and the keynoters tops in their field, what really struck me that first year was ACEP's dedication to energy psychological research and humanitarian outreach. I like to say that all my psychological methodologies are an anathema to the APA; spiritual, somatic (body), energy, and pre- and perinatal (psychology of children from conception through 18 months). And yet, efficacy for all has been established by research published in peer reviewed journals. ACEP is at the forefront in proving its members with the research and needed tools to practice energy methodologies, not only to psychologists and psychiatrists, but also to coaches, energy practitioners, and body workers. While ACEP's efforts are directed to its member, the focus is on bringing healing energy methodologies to the world. For all these reasons, I have been a member for ten years, served in its leadership for six years, and feel my $1,000+ donations to ACEP are among the best contributions I make each year.
I have been a member of ACEP since its inception as well as board member and Past President. ACEP is dedicated to spreading the word about the power of Energy Psychology, offering wonderful conferences and trainings world wide. I have met amazing practitioners and teachers who have inspired me in my own work as a psychotherapist, teacher and author.
I have been a member of ACEP for more than 15 years and have served as President of this marvelous organization. Energy Psychology enables people to heal psychological problems much more rapidly than any other method. ACEP is now devoting time to doing the research that will prove this to the world.
By providing trainings and conferences ACEP encourages professionals to continue to grow in this field, to share information that helps us help those we treat. This allows both professionals as well as lay people from all over the world to share with each other with generosity and caring.
This organization is comprised of many compassionate pioneers in the field of energy psychology. This organization is dedicated to not only working with clients, but also research and humanitarian work. Results of energy psychology in trauma work is outstanding.
ACEP is a place where practitioners at the forefront of expanded understanding about human psychology can find a home; learn from others; and share with others the powers of these amazing methods, helping the world to heal and advance. I've been a member almost since the beginning and have always found that the heart and spirit of sharing and giving here to be truly remarkable. They are achieving both scientific credibility and deep heart connection, an integration that itself is essential to the healing of the world.
I first attended a conference of this organization in 2005 and fell in love with ACEP - and have made the transatlantic journey every year since then. Its staff and members of its Board and committees and other volunteers work hard all year to make the remarkable healing modalities of energy psychology available to as many people as possible around the world, and also to promote research. Thanks to the educational work of ACEP, I introduced energy psychology to our British National Health Service - resulting in dramatic clinical improvements and a collapse of waiting times in our locality.
ACEP is wonderful - unlike any other organisation I have encountered. It is run by people with a love and enthusiasm for energy psychology and healing, who have a conviction that these methods and perspectives can make the world a far better place. The selfless dedication of its many volunteers is truly inspiring. ACEP's members are a wonderful mix of licensed professions in psychology, psychiatry, and social work, along with healers and energy medicine practitioners, and intrepid scientists of all kinds. Whilst steering a steady path of professional ethics and sound practice, ACEP also manages to draw upon the most adventurous and innovative methods of therapy and medicine currently available on this planet. Its conferences are a stunning and vibrant celebration of subtle energy in all its potential.
As a licensed psychologist since 1974, and also having held a position on the faculty of a major university medical school, no innovation has meant more to my professional success than the approach that this organization advocates. And it has not only advocated the approach, it has embraced numerous factions into a cooperative community, it has created an exemplary approach to ethics, and it has created and maintained high standards of competence and practice for its members.
It was always a dream of mine to combine my passions for Energy-based psychological services with international relief and humanitarian projects, working with people who have a deep respect for the human spirit, and hold a belief that we could improve our world through vision, compassion, and application of applied science that serves humanity. This dream became a reality when I found ACEP. Through spreading the word about energy psychology with educational programs, engaging annual conferences, local community groups, funding research projects, and more ACEP reduces needless suffering in the world, and provides a loving community from which to grow and spread more light in the world. The staff and volunteer community makes the most of every dollar raised and more importantly combines the best of science and wonder to help lift us all to a refined and healthier plane of consciousness. I looked far and wide to find an organization to place my trust, time, money, and heart. ACEP has become my home and it is my desire to let others know about this great organization, so we can make more dreams come true.

The mental health self-help treatment techniques promoted by the Association of Energy Psychology (ACEP) are evidence-based and, because these techniques are easy to use and can be taught to nonprofessional community mental health workers, they are an answer to serving the mental health needs of underserved populations domestically and in middle and low-income countries. U.S, veterans are an example of one underserved community here in the U.S. ACEP sponsored several trips to the Las Vegas Veteran community over the last two years. As a result, many veterans who reported suffering from symptoms of posttraumatic stress, reported that they no longer suffered from symptoms of posttraumatic stress. Best of all, those who work with vets in the V.A. and in other venues that serve veterans have been trained in these skills. Additionally, ACEP has helped sponsor several mental health deployments to several low and middle-income countries in troubled areas of the world. They are addressing the global problem of the mental health burden in a direct and practical way by promoting community-based mental health treatment in accordance with guidelines established by the World Health Organization (WHO).
We were approached by ACEP about our work with survivors of the genocide in Rwanda and armed conflicts in DR Congo and other similar areas - received incredible backing and support with utmost professionalism which enabled us to assist and train Syrian refugee help workers in Gaziantep. We were Impressed and have joined their Humanitarian Committee which continues to impress.
As the co-founder and first president of ACEP whose term ended in 2002, I am admittedly biased. But to see this organization continue to thrive and grow 17 years after we first established it is a real testimony to its quality. To see it do this in ways that sustainably honor and integiously build upon its founding vision is even an even more compelling testimony. To watch it keep having an ever-increasingly vast impact in helping to create a better world moves me beyond words. My gratitude to ACEP for the positive impact it is having in the realm of integrative psychology & healing Is boundless...
I was introduced to energy psychology and ACEP in 2006 by one of my doctoral professors who was a member. Having previously experienced muscle testing from a chiropractor to ascertain what my body needed, I was intrigued as to how EP would fit in with my body-mind approach to psychology; attending the next national conference, I found both a special psychological modality and a home. My trauma work is mainly with children and the programs I attended at the first and then subsequent conferences has been invaluable. Further, I found ACEP to not only be educational professionally, but also actively promoting ethical practices, peer-reviewed research, and humanitarian programs around the globe. All this while integrating compassion into mind-body-spirit psychotherapy; I am now blessed to be able to give back to the fabulous association as a board member!
I have been a member of ACEP since 2004 and have served on several committees and the Board. ACEP offers plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth and I'm honored to be part of an organization that sets the highest of ethical and professional standards. Because most of the movers and shakers in the field of Energy Psychology belong to ACEP I have had the opportunity to learn from or be trained by them directly. The conferences are outstanding and this is a time I can meet people from around the globe who are intent on healing themselves, others and the world. I feel very comfortable there and always leave energized. This is definitely a five star organization.
I have been a member of ACEP for about 10 years, a Board Member at Large for almost 2 years and am active on three committees so I have seen and been part of its principled evolvement and growth.
ACEP is a steward of higher good. It is committed to expanding the reach of and promoting the ethical use of Energy Psychology methods through its certification courses. It is a leader in conducting and supporting research on the efficacy of Energy Psychology methods and its humanitarian efforts are ever expanding.
ACEP is both a tremendous source of and resource for spiritual, professional, and personal growth. I am proud to be intimately associated with the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
This is my professional organization and the place I turn to for research, ethics and continuing education. The annual conferences are a highlight each year.
I am a member and also someone who holds several certifications managed through this organization. I have found ACEP to be an ethical and supportive community for my work as a healer and holistic coach. The annual conferences are exceptional and the professional friendships I have gained through this organization have been outstanding.
How fascinating it has been this past decade to watch ACEP define an important field of practice and lead the way in its development! As a proponent of Energy Psychology, I have found the organization to be supportive, inspiring, and a source of important resources. The Annual Conference is a gathering of the field's leaders and pioneers and provides a tremendous opportunity for networking and sharing ideas. The staff is friendly, accessible, and extremely resourceful. It's a great organization.
I have been a part of ACEP from its inception, and served on the Board of Directors from 2006-2012; and currently serve as research coordinator. Although ACEP does not have a formal mentoring program, I feel grateful for the mentoring I have received. I have found ACEP's board members and officers consistently open and available to discuss issues and handle problems when needed. ACEP is a leader in the new field of Energy Psychology; its members 'walk their talk' in applying these powerful tools, not just to their clients, but also to themselves, professionally and personally. I feel both proud and grateful to have served on ACEP's board and research committee.
I am proud to be the immediate past president of ACEP. By increasing the visibility and credibility of energy psychology, ACEP is helping to transform the world.
I am proud to be ACEP's current president. ACEP does a wonderful job of helping to spread the word about energy psychology, as well as increasing its credibility and the research that supports it. We have over 1200 members from throughout the world and our impact increases daily. Please check us out!
I've been a member and on the advisory board of ACEP since its inception. I am now the president. This is a wonderful and productive organization, promoting the many benefits of energy psychology, supporting research, high quality training, humanitarian efforts, and more.
Energy Psychology is a leader among the most powerful approaches to psychotherapy, counseling, coaching, and more. I began studying EP in 1992, and I have continued to remain amazed and grateful for these contributions. ACEP is the priemere organization that shines like a Light House, guiding the way to the best practices this field has to offer. I have been a founding member and have been on the Advisory Board and the Board of Directors for many years. Next year I begin my term as ACEP President, and I want to invite ALL professionals engaged in enhancing human behavior and consciousness to join us. We're on the march, and Together I believe we shall change the world for the better.
