Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: To promote high quality materials and workmanship in the lath and plaster industry in san diego and imperial counties; assist contractors in gaining knowledge of the latest technics, rules and regulations, materials, and application methods through regular educational meetings and interaction events with other contractors, suppliers and customers.
Programs: Member meetings with programs relating to the plastering and lathing industry were held during each of nine months during the fiscal year a golf tournament including an closing banquet provided an opportunity for members to socialize with each other as well as discuss problems and news of the industry. Associate members were able to have face to face acquaintance with their customers at the tournament and annual installation/holiday social event which leads to better working conditions and performance. Members and the public received education and information on new products, application techniques, and plaster maintenance information. An inspection service by experienced membersis offered to resolve problems arising on projects or disputes between contractors and owners or builders
