Mission: ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Austin is a non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers providing direct services that address specific, basic needs of children and adults in schools, hospitals and senior facilities in Greater Austin, significantly improving the quality of their lives.
VISION: As a nationally and locally recognized and respected philanthropic organization, Assistance League of Austin will provide quality services to our community through diverse projects, that serve emerging needs of children and adults and significantly improve the quality of their lives.
Programs: Operation school bell is the flagship program of assistance league chapters providing a wardrobe of new clothing, shoes, toiletries, and a backpack to children in austin isd, del valle isd and manor isd schools and shelters to boost their self esteem and help them stay in school.
assistance league scholarships are provided to qualifying students attending austin community college to help them achieve their career goals. These scholarships cover tuition, books, and fees. Discretionary funds are provided to students as needed and approved.
toy cart at dell children's medical center brings joy to sick and injured children by giving them a toy and a book 4 times a week.
A top notch organization that serves children in need with a school wardrobe, toys and books to hospitalized children, outings for senior citizens. All volunteer-no paid staff. Has extremely effective thrift shop selling donated goods to buy new items for programs in the community. Dedicated, committed members of all ages.
