I have had the privilege of volunteering at Assist for over 6 years. It has been a great experience working with the staff. I started in the warehouse sorting donations and now am volunteering in the office assisting with the mailing of the newsletters.

Although I am an employee here at Assist International, I have been involved in their work prior to coming to work here. I'm so proud to be a part of such a caring organization who really looks for opportunities to help "the one". The variety of work that we do is a testimony to how much we care and are able to pivot to meet needs. Even if I weren't an employee, I would support their efforts to meet needs. With material and logistical support from Assist International, our organization has been able to provide medical equipment to 5 community hospitals in Ghana. As a result, the life expectancy of the communities has improved significantly. Especially for expectant mothers and children.

They organized a fantastic lecture series on Oxygen and Critical Care that I participated in. They have also organized many regional lectures on the subject. The lectures were very well attended and beautifully interactive.

Assist International is built from the ground up to assist the world's most vulnerable people. They do it very successfully and we love supporting them in their mission. We've provided IT services to them since 2015 and they are a great organization to do business with. They are friendly, professional and the organization runs like clockwork.

This organization is truly focused on implementing solutions to rescue children in need and make life saving impacts around the world. I have been working with Assist International since they have started working with World Vision and their donation program. I have found the staff to be extremely committed to meeting needs not just in their local community but wherever their reach can extend. I have worked with them in providing resources all over the world as well as my local community in San Jose. They are compassionate, generous and always accommodating in making things work in order that the needs of our world are met! I come to Assist with It’s A New Day Recovery Home. I love being able to give to others by helping sort the pallets. Everyone from the different groups work together even though we don’t all know each other. Thank you for allowing me to help.

I am the Executive Director of a non profit which serves homeless and previously incarcerated individuals and helps them re-integrate into society. I approached Assist International requesting an opportunity for our clients to volunteer and learn job skills in an actual work environment. The directors accepted our men with a welcoming and cheerful spirit, and staff guided them as they performed various tasks. Our men felt accepted and wanted which went a long way in helping them develop self-confidence and self-worth, feelings of acceptance in spite of their past and also inspired them develop achievable work goals. As lead pastor of a 2000+ church, I was personally involved in a $200,000 humanitarian project with Assist. I was impressed with their integrity and their close cooperation with local communities and other NGO's. It was evident from my on-scene observations that they are held in high esteem by governments of countries in which they work. From the beginning to the end of our project, and in years following, we received respectful guidance from Assist directors. Our hearts were moved as we witnessed other humanitarian projects and spoke with national medical and aide workers who commented on the life-saving contributions to their communities.

I first worked with Assist International in 2002, where they partnered with Cupertino Rotary to install a cardiac care unit in a children's hospital in Chile, that has been saving 100 children's lives every year. Since then they have been involved in many other great projects solving health issues all around the world.

Assist International has been a partner, sponsor and friend for our charitable organization, "Jesus the Hope of Romania", for many many years now. There are no words to express how valuable the support we have received from Assist International has been and how easy they have made it to cooperate with them: they are professional, trustworthy, always on time, sensitive to our needs and sensible to the context we live and work in. We couldn't imagine doing our charitable work here in Romania without them by our side.

Over the many years that I have supported Assist International, I have watched how orphans have been cared for, supported and loved by Assist. Medical needs of many countries have been met with equipment and training provided by the organization of Assist International. The leaders that are directly involved in this endeavor have committed their lives to meet the needs of those less fortunate. Assist International is a worthy organization to support.

Thank to AI we have a Pediatric Cardiovascular Center at Roberto del Río Children Hospital in Santiago, Chile. Because of that we do not have a waiting list anymore in our country

I have volunteered for them in several ways in the past. Assist International is very efficient and serves needs in different ways. They are helping in foreign countries and also helping the needs of many in the United States.

Assist International, CA, is the finest and most reliable Charity Organization we know. For 35 years they have through their leaders been the close friends always accommodating themselves to the needs presented. There has been advice and good leadership as to those details their long time of experience has given them to give. In times of hardship, like in seasons of Pandemies and even financial hardship, and managerial assistant they stand out like nobody else. Incredible is their integrity, reliable is their support and knowldegable is their advice. The people at Assist International were/are instrumental in helping to build and maintain entire village in Romania (Caminul Felix) to provide a true home to orphans and other abandoned children In this village children are placed in Foster Homes with mothers and fathers and a number of siblings of various ages, genders and from various locations in Romania. These children are loved and trained and given hope for a future that is successful. They also learn about Jesus and God's wisdom from the Bible . They are taught life skills, farming and animal care, and now even have technical training opportunities on or near the village. These once abandoned and homeless children have been given the gift of a quality life, both here on earth and the Biblical information they need to go to heaven when they die. My wife and I have been supporters for many years and she and I feel confident that our monthly support has a significant impact on children who otherwise had little or no hope. Would heartily recommend them to anyone who is seeking to make a significant difference in this often cruel and uncaring world.

They have done and are doing amazing things all over the world, in over 25 countries. They keep me informed through social media and newsletters. They have a high rating for nonprofits.

Assist International has taken on some monumental challenges facing some of the neediest regions of the world. Their staff has developed expertise in areas around health care development and delivery. They take action and deliver actual solutions and do not spend all of their time on academic studies without action. Assist International gets things done!

I have had the privilege to join Assist on several medical trips to install patient monitoring equipment at hospitals in third world countries. That equipment has saved hundreds if not thousands of lives. Assist has a heart for the world and is doing great humanitarian work in not only the medical arena, but also in building orphanages and water systems, helping fire victims, and much more. For over a decade I have had the privilege of being involved with Assist International. My part has been minimal as an occassional volunteer. I have always been amazed at the scope and breadth of Assist International's contributions to humanitarian causes in third world nations around the world. From assisting hospitals with installation and training on cardiac care monitoring systems, to clean water projects, women's empowerment programs, orphan village projects, installation and training on oxygen production plants for hospitals, Assist International always works toward training and empowering local communities to be self-sustaining in all these areas and more. They are able to get things done quicker and more efficiently than organizations that are much larger and have much more resources.

I have observed and participated with Assist International for over 30 years. During this time it has grown to be a seasoned and respected organization that effectively serves the health and well-being of thousands in communities, cities and nations around the world. We run a non-profit in Uganda ( New Dawn Africa Foundation ) & Assist International has been there for us in so many ways. Through their support we have been able to empower women and children living with HIV/AIDS in our community.
