Programs: Aspirus ontonagon hospital, inc. (aoh) operates several healthcare service lines including a 25-bed critical access hospital, three physician clinics, and a 46-bed skilled nursing unit. Aoh strives to offer the best care possible to the residents of ontonagon county and the surrounding area. Aoh is committed to keeping healthcare decisions local, to provide a successful community hospital for generations to come. For the year ended june 30, 2017, aoh serviced the community through 455 inpatient days, 110 swing bed inpatient days, 14,289 skilled nursing facility days of care, and 13,725 outpatient visits. In addition, the family practice clinic had 5,889 visits, the up clinic had 1,195 visits and the oncology clinic had 205 visits. Aoh provides a significant amount of services to patients under its charity care policy or to beneficiaries of the medicare and medicaid programs.
