Mission: At the institute of professional practice, we build strong communities by empowering individuals.
Programs: Day options and employment support services: ippi provides a wide variety of employment support and community based day support options to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through job assessment, identification, and coaching, volunteer opportunities, and social/educational opportunities, individuals are woven into the fabric of the community.
residential support services: ippi provides a variety of residential supports for adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health issues. Individuals and children receiving residential supports are offered a wide variety of services including shared living arrangements, group home supports, and permanency planning/intensive foster care. All services are community based and focus on skills acquisition and positive behavioral change.
educational services: ippi offers two types of educational services for children aged six to twenty-two. The organization operates two self-standing special education schools and provides intensive educational services for children with an autism spectrum disorder, developmental disability and/or behavioral challenges. Ippi also operates in-school educational services for a similar population. Children receive educational services that are highly individualized in nature with the goal of returning/reintegrating students to their home school(s).
