Mission: Our chapter exists for the exclusive purpose of advancing, in our geographical region, scientific, engineering, technical, and practical knowledge, particularly with respect to the manufacture, treatment, selection, and use of engineered materials. This is done through education, research, and the compilation and dissemination of information useful to individual members and perspective members of the Society, and beneficial to the general public.
