My name is Asadullah, I moved to California U.S.A in September 2021. I was born and raised in Afghanistan. I moved to California with a small amount of money and big dreams.
After I arrived, I immediately noticed I must push hard and work in order to have a brighter future and to be able to support my family in Afghanistan.
I’m a certified Motor Bike Mechanic from Afghanistan. I left Afghanistan with all my belongings due to security threats and faced many financial challenges while resettling in the US.
With years of experience in Afghanistan, I had no experience of working in the US, lack of familiarity with US online job search engines, building resume & employers requirements. With the guidance& assistance of ARI I was able to get a Job, and able to immediately support my two kids and wife left behind in Afghanistan. ARI has assisted me get my first offer on the job training as mechanic now I’m extremely happy in my workplace. ARI has helped me with resources, and pre-employment skills training so I can become self-sufficient. Now, I’m quite resettled, familiarized with the American way of life, got skills, secured suitable job and am able to take care of my family and financial obligations. I’m extremely thankful to ARI services and my case worker Ahmad Salim.
