Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Philanthropy, Philanthropy, Voluntarism & Grantmaking Foundations
Mission: Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) expands and mobilizes resources for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities to build a more just and equitable society. Our core members include staff and trustees of foundations and other grantmaking entities, staff and board members of nonprofit organizations, and philanthropists in 10 regional chapters and emerging geographic hubs across the United States.
Programs: Aapip's national giving circle campaign provided matching grants and technical assistance to local giving circle groups and community foundations to fund aapi community groups and social justice needs in regions across the country.
through a national membership of institutional and individual funders and ten regional chapters, aapip advocates for increased resources to address aapi community issues and needs through national and regional convenings, research and data gathering and communications activities.
