Programs: Cbci china: asia catalyst's capacity building and community initiatives' china-based work, which concluded in-country activities in 2016, included a one year community based organization (cbo) group leadership training, one and two day workshops for individual organizations, and tailored coaching and mentoring support for multiple organizations or cbo networks.

cbci myanmar & southeast asia: in 2015-16, asia catalyst ran a southeast asia regional program with a focus on cambodia, china, myanmar, and vietnam. The program focused on human rights documentation and community based advocacy and was based on ac's "know it, prove it, change it" (kipici) curriculum. Sixteen leaders from eight cbos went through the two year intensive program, and advocacy based on the research report generated is ongoing. In 2016-2017, ac supported the groups in advocacy campaigns in country, while conducting similar training in thailand with thai organizations. In june 2017, asia catalyst launched a myanmar country training program offered in english and burmese to strengthen advocacy campaigns and coordination in myanmar.

advocacy: asia catalyst's advocacy work aims to create positive policy change by working with cbos and non-governmental organizations in asia to more effectively protect and promote the right to health at the local, national, and international levels. Targeted and collaborative research, documentation, and analysis form the foundation for strategic policy and media work on issues of most concern to the communities asia catalyst works with.
