Mission: ArtWork Enterprises produces collaborative theatrical readings and events that bring new works to the American stage, giving playwrights, artists, and our community ongoing opportunities to create, learn, appreciate, and participate in the journey from page to stage.
Programs: Since 1991, we produce the annual Ashland New Plays Festival. AWE hosts four winning playwrights for a week of work in Ashland with professional actors and directors, culminating in two public script-in-hand readings of each play. We also produce a 10-minute plays festival in conjunction with senior theatre arts students, and the 24.7 Project to bring community writers and talent in contact with professionals.
