Mission: It is the mission of ARTS San Antonio to educate, enrich and entertain of all of the people, especially the children, of the Greater San Antonio, Texas Area and the South Texas region. In pursuing this mission, ARTS San Antonio will seek to balance these interdependent values: accessibility, artistic excellence, collaboration, diversity, education value and responsible financial stewardship.
Programs:
ARTS San Antonio's ARtsTEach program provides interactive, hands-on elementary school classroom arts workshops at public and private schools throughout the Greater San Antonio region. Each year, more than 10,000 students particpate in these workshops. The workshops are conducted by individuals from ARTS San Antonio's roster of 21 performing and visual artists who reside in the San Antonio area.
