Depending on which life you live this school might be a good fit for you. Your child will learn how to be narrated around without a smile or a please or even a name or a hello. She will learn that it is a hostile word and If her eyes are full of tears nobody will notice let alone a kind word - she's here to obey orders and rules because ballet is all about discipline. Well, even though the name implies it, this school is a parody to the ballet schools in Russia and a shame to be associated with. It is being run by Vladimir's better half - a Latin lady who apparently did not have a good start in life and nor did her uneducated and rude children. Their demeanor, speech and primitivity is destined to make them a career in housekeeping at most but instead they'll teach your children dance. All the while you will be talked down by housekeepers who obviously feel this is their only 15 minutes of fame right here talking down to you. You decide if you want to encounter this at your own monetary expense and not just randomly at a gas station.

I have to say that as a musician that loves ballet, I have had the opportunity of enjoying some of the top ballet in the world, many times in may life.
Now I live in Miami and I can´t believe how lucky I am of having the chance of enjoying and admiring the beautiful, breathtaking and professional work of Art Ballet Miami, especially the work that they do with the children.
My little daughter has this privilege also, taking an active role as student.
The professional staff of dancers is of the best quality which is pretty amazing because they are so young....
All this it is not surprising because they have a full professional staff and one of the brightest and best classical ballet choreographer and professor in the country, Mr. Vladimir Issaev, that with his impressive experience, especially in the Russian Ballet School, that has been acknowledged internationally.
In addition, they have several scholarships and give free performances in several community schools, fact that contributes significantly to their outreach projection to the south Miami community.
So, I hope they will receive all the support for the social and artistic benefits that the people of south Florida deserve.
My family has been associated with Arts Ballet Theatre since it was founded. Our daughters benefited from the leadership and professionalism of one of the best classical ballet choreographers in the country, Mr. Vladimir Issaev, for over 13 years. In addition to participating in the company's annual productions, which include three different full lenght ballets and a spring gala, they attended it's Russian Ballet Intensive Program during the summers. Although the girls grew up and are no longer dancing with the company, our family continues supporting it because we strongly believe they provide wonderful educational and creative opportunities for the children and high quality dance programs for the whole community.
Both of my children participated in programs by the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida for many years. My daughter learned to appreciate dance and classical music, developed discipline and self-confidence, and learned to teach young children their dances. The kids in this dance company also are very supportive of each other - just the opposite of the competitive environment in which some companies thrive. Finally, she had an opportunity to travel to Europe twice and to host exchange students at home through ballet. Those experience were incredibly enriching. Now in college, she continues to dance, which is both expressive and wonderful exercise. My son also took dance lessons for two years. Since he has autism, it was a tremendous opportunity for him to socialize with kids his age. The integration with typical kids was especially good for him, as he'd never been able to participate in sports and always wanted to do what his sister did. Arts Ballet Theatre is a blessing to this community.
I am a volunteer with Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. In my so many years of experience with cultural organization I have never experienced the satisfaction I feel every time I attend one of the performances or see the success in any of their educational programs.
Their performances are magnificent and the support they give to the community is outstanding.
They have created new and young audiences by increasing their repertoire of Russian ballets with a story in each one of them.
I truly support them as they are making an extraordinary effort to enhance our cultural awareness in our community.
I have been a student of Vladimir's since the age of 3. Since then I have performed some major roles in the academy for example in 2007 I protrayed the role od Clara in the Nutcraker. Vladimir Issaev is and always will be the most amazing ballet master to have ever lived! He has taught me so much discipline over the years and I love him. I am dedicated to this academy and always will. Vladimir's School of Classical Ballet is and always will be forevermore my second home.
wow my experience has been great it all started 3 years ago when i did ballet i was in a very low level even though i ws eight. in a few months i was moved up to prepetory 1. my was teacher vladimir. i worked hard in prepetory 1 for a year until i had to leave because i hit 4th grade in school were they loaded my with homework and tests i left ballet for 2 years. i was so sad that i had lost being a ballerina so i went back to after i was done with 4th grade. i am done with 4th grade now and i am in 5th in ballet i am in prepertory 2 and working to get my pointe shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! isabella s.
I am a junior member of the Arts Ballet Theater of Florida. I have been a student of Vladimir Issaev since the age of five. He gives personal attention to all the details of our dancing and our developtment. Not only do we learn in the studio but we perform on stage. This is an amazing experience that is not offered in other dance schools. We all participate in community service projects that promote the arts and help to raise funds for the company. It is more than just a dance school/company, it is a family.
My 7-year old son absolutely loves this ballet school! The training is top-notch and we feel so fortunate to have them in South Florida. We drive over an hour each way from Palm Beach County 4 days a week for this incredible instruction and experience. The teachers are truly professionals who not only teach but have active dancing careers themselves. Bravo Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida!
My experience at Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida definately taught me alot. It taught me self discipline and and self control. It showed me what it was like to be dedicated and commited to something that I truly love. It gave me the opportunity to perform numerous amount of times and to do what I love most. Ballet. I am really appreciative of everything that Vladimir and Ruby did for me and its an experience you will not find very often.

We are fortunate to have this organization serving our community and educating our children. They place a high value on instilling confidence and respect while teaching the art of dance.

As a parent, I am thankful that Vladimir Issaev's Arts Ballet Theatre exists. While other programs stress "fun", Arts Ballet Theatre puts serious discipline with fun as well into their programs. Many of their current staff are involved in higher education in the field of dance instruction and education at the University level. The staff at Arts Ballet Theatre definitely have the skills and training to effectively instruct children in dance. There is a window of opportunity for learning when children are young, and ballet instruction, following directions, attentive listening skills, healthy and happy play, correct posture, helps young children in their development. I was worried at first that my daughter would not be able to succeed in Ballet School. Mrs. Ruby Issaev said that the combination of music with dance has a magical effect on children and that magic helped my daughter succeed. It is a boon that Vladimir Issaev, the director of Arts Ballet is an exceptional choreographer who brings to the community wonderful ballets for the family that definitely reinforce love for the arts. South Beach Chamber Ensemble members Michael Andrews, cello and Ciro Fodere, piano, collaborated with Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida to perform selections from Aldemaro Romero's Suite for Cello and Piano for "En Trois Parties", choreographed by their superb guest choreographer Josee Garant. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the company and were delighted to perform three times with their wonderful dancers.

Arts ballet Theater of Florida has been a member of the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce for the past 4 years in excellent standing. Ruby and Vladimir Issaev brought a level of dance and culture to our community that has never been equaled. Arts Ballet Theatre has started a tradition in South Florida with their presentation of the "Nutcracker" ballet extravaganza each Holiday Season. Ruby and Vladimir are touching young lives in our community that otherwise might never have the opportunity to experience this level of ballet. We are truly proud to have them as members and continually support their endeavors to be the very best.
My daughter participated in their Summer Program and her technique, her love for Ballet, poise, improved much more than expected. This is a complete program not only for the techniques but helps this young kids understand discipline, group work and camaraderie. My daughter had an exceptional experience as a ballerina with Arts Ballet Theatre. Her appreciation of dance and music, plus the acquisition of poise and performing experience were all fundamental to her growth as an individual. She also traveled abroad with the company, and now has friends all over the world. Arts Ballet Theatre had a tremendous impact on her and on our family.
I am lucky to say that I was one of the founding members of Arts Ballet Theatre of South Florida. As a dance professor, I have gained much expertise through my experience with the company and I constantly, am amazed at how the company has grown and it continues to produce exquisite artists. ABTSF is a great example of dream that has been nurtured by a supportive community and donors. I am also very fortunate to have the opportunity to give back by teaching in their summer workshops. ABTSF has helped individuals like myself to continue a life and love of dance.
