Mission: Artpace operates an international artist-in-residence program and provides public exhibitions and educational programs for adults and school age children relating to contemporary art, primarily serving san antonio and south texas, including both public & private schools.
Programs: International artist-in-residence program - three times per year artists are selected by guest curators to conduct a two month residency in san antonio, texas. Artpace maintains an extensive physical & electronic archive on artists who have participated in this program.
exhibitions - artpace organizes several exhibitions each year which are installed on-site in the hudson showroom and main space gallery.
public programs - artpace offers a wide variety of public programs for all members of the community, free of charge, including students from kindergarten through university students.
