Artist Helping the Homeless is a five-year old non-profit providing transportation, housing, and case management services to homeless individuals and families in the Kansas City Metro area. The director, Karr Woo, is tireless in working both on the street with the homeless and in hospital ERs, social services organizations, shelters, nursing homes, and with police and ambulance services. He has been recognized often for his services.
