Mission: The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
Programs:
KAT-FISH Family Camp is a weekend retreat that gives children with arthritis, and their families, the opportunity to meet other families, learn about arthritis, and have fun in a supportive setting. The primary goal of camp is to provide a positive and active camp experience for children with arthritis who deal with unrelenting pain, invasive medical treatments and depression often associated with chronic illness. Tools are provided to the children and their parents that will enable them to better cope with arthritis in their daily lives.
