I went to volunteer in Kenya through ARRIVE back in June, 2015. I was impressed with the communication before and during my trip as well as the amount of education provided to me about the situation of the street kids and life on the street.
Brian, the founder, lives onsite in Kenya which made me feel safe and any Wu actions I had he was right there to answer. The kids are all happy and you can genuinely see that they love being there. The school, Light Uriri, is wonderful. I would highly recommend ARRIVE!

A+++ Experience with ARRIVE! Arrives infrastructure is made up of a group of leaders that 100% carries on a message larger than themselves. The passion that Arrive has to change the world radiates through every aspect of their organization. From the way Arrive curates a personable volunteer experience to each and every volunteer, to the way that Arrive rescues some of the most vulnerable kids in the world and gives them a second chance at life - their vision is one that should continued to be spread throughout the world.

I found Arrive when I was looking for a volunteer program In Kenya! I wanted to work with children and helped them in every way I could!
My experience there was amazing, is wonderful to see the children healthy, receiving education, love, working for a better future, but mostly seeing them being happy, after the hard life they have been through.
Brian, the volunteer that lives with them, is also amazing, he helped me arrange everything before and during my trip, this wouldn't have been possible without him!
I want to go back, miss them so much!
If you're looking to volunteer, Arrive is an AMAZING option ❤️

I found Arrive when I was looking to volunteer in Kenya through an online search. The founder Brian lives onsite and was so helpful with all our questions before our volunteer trip. We had a life changing time in Kenya and we have Arrive to thank for it. What Arrive is doing for the street kids is nothing short of a miracle and I will be returning soon for a second time.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to volunteer for Arrive in 2012 and what a life changing experience it was. Besides feeling as if I gained a new family from day 1 of being there, I was also able to experience Kenya in a very unique way. I saw first hand how many of the street children lived which was a huge eye opener but also, I spent a night with the Maasai tribe and saw what it was like for them to thrive off their land. Accomodation was good, no complains. Wouldn't change the experience for anything.

Arrive is a wonderful organization that rescues orphaned or abandoned children living in the streets. They are homeless, parentless, starving, not attending school, often diseased, unloved, uncared-for, and usually addicted to sniffing glue to forget their troubles. Brian Ash has sacrificed his own young life to help these children, after he witnessed firsthand their living situation, and decided to devote his life to offering them a safe home, medical care, education, and caring. My daughter and her husband were volunteers at Arrive last year, and told me all the wonderful things that are done for the children. From her photos of the street children that she witnessed, I was horrified, and I begged her to rescue one of the youngest of the children living on the street and sniffing glue. He was only 8 years old, sick, starving, an orphan, and not in school. Brian Ash took him in and I became his sponsor. This young boy, James, has been transformed from a picture of despair to a happy, healthy, vibrant member of the Arrive community. I cannot say enough good about Brian Ash and his organization, Arrive. If only Arrive could have the money and facilities to rescue more street children, who do not deserve the horrendous life they lead, through no fault of their own. Every child deserves a home, healthy food, medical care, education and love. Unfortunately, in rural Kenya, thousands of children have nothing, so they live -and die - in the streets. Arrive is one of the few organizations doing something to rescue these children, and does it so well, with so much loving care and with so little. Attached is a picture of James a year ago, immediately after he was rescued from life on the streets. The next picture is of James a year later - happy, healthy, loved and part of the Arrive family. What a difference! Arrive literally saved his life.

I have volunteered twice with Arrive and each time have had a great experience both volunteering and traveling to see the amazing parts of Kenya Arrive gives it's volunteers access to. the volunteer experience allows you intimate access to the struggling communities where Arrive operates, along with a cultural educational experience which makes you feel as if you got more than you could ever give from the experience.

I find that supporting and working with Arrive is beneficial because it is a personal, small non-profit organization. The impactful work has an incredible impact on the kids Arrive helps, and after going to Kenya I saw firsthand the on-the-ground operations. When I came back to the United States, I was able to continue supporting the organization and the kids in Kenya by being an Arrive Ambassador. For me, its almost as if Arrive is bigger than the individual; the individual is just a vehicle for the inspiration and influence of Arrive to pass through.
