Mission: The organization's mission is to invest in the well-being of children and youth to ensure and create opportunities for them to live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Additionally, the organization provides financial support to institutions and organizations that support health and wellness initiatives and strengthen communities and the environment.
Programs: In 2016, arnie's army charitable foundation granted funds to arnold palmer hospital for children and the howard philips center for children and families, both 501(c)(3) organizations. The funds granted to arnold palmer hospital for children were directed to services and facilities for a new pediatric bone marrow transplant program and to assist and enhance the continuation of clinical trials for pediatric cancer research. The funds granted to the howard philips center contributed to a program that provides mobile medical services and monitoring to underprivileged youth in the community that may not otherwise have access to care.
the organization held the palmer cup in the summer of 2016, a collegiate event whose purpose is to promote the development of youth golfers and to pass on mr. Arnold palmer's values to the next generation of golfers.
