I have had the honor of being a volunteer for the Army Scholarship Foundation for several years. Each year I am blown away at the impact they make and how appreciative the recipients are for the assistance. The entire organization is volunteer so any donation you make goes directly to the scholarships. Imagine being a young person growing up in a military family who frequently gets stationed in a new location year after year. All the difficulties that come along with that are lessened by having some security around how they will pay for college. Please take the opportunity to attend next years luncheon and hear about all the great work.
I've been working with the Army Scholarship Foundation (ASF) for over 10 years. As the former chapter President of the Association of United States Army's North Texas - Audie Murphy chapter, we had been looking for a military focused charity that did college scholarships. We found ASF locally in the DFW area.
We looked at their books and insured that the majority of their fund raising went to the cause and not to someone car. Annually now, the chapter had funded $10,000 for 10 scholarship. Several of our local members have sponsored a scholarship personally.
I've met several of their recipients at the annual Heroes luncheon. Jeff and Rose are wonderful people and we love the passion and support they give to their cause.
As an Army veteran attending my first ASF annual luncheon, I was impressed at the enthusiasm, attitudes, and commitment of the volunteers and attendees at the event.
For me, I consider serving one's nation as the highest calling. For this organization to consider scholarships to worthwhile and deserving sons and daughters of both veterans and active duty servicemen is indeed a very noble and needed mission and a way to express our appreciation for their service.
I volunteered at the Army Scholarship Foundation's annual Help our Heroes Luncheon last month. The event shines a light on the vital role that education plays in empowering Army families, while honoring the sacrifices made by service members and their loved ones. Community leaders, veterans, donors, and scholarship recipients came together to hear and share the personal stories that bring the mission of the foundation to life. One of the highlights of the luncheon was the keynote address delivered by distinguished veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Capt. Florent Groberg. It was an amazing event to be part of and a privilege to see firsthand the organization’s commitment to supporting Army families.
I have volunteered for this organization several times at events to help collect donations. I love what they stand for and the fact that this is an entirely volunteer run organization. Thank you Rose & Jeff for all your hard work for such a worthy cause! Your making a difference in the live of dependents all over our country

I have been a supporter of ASF for many years. Rose and Jeff Gault introduced me to the mission of ASF. Their enthusiasm and tireless devotion to providing educational opportunities to the children and spouses of our service men and women inspired me to create a scholarship in my Dad's name. He would be so proud that his service in WWII now is influential in ensuring our military know how much we value their sacrifice on our behalf.
It is my privilege to serve as a Board Member for the Army Scholarship Foundation. Our Board reflects various Army service backgrounds and skillsets. The variety of backgrounds brings creative thinking and action to make annual scholarships a reality for deserving individuals.
The Army Scholarship foundation does a great deed for the families of the US Army. They are steadfast in supporting the scholarship needs of our Army families. They are diligent in raising funds and distributing scholarships.
In the past, I have participated in the review of the scholarship applications, and will do so again this year.
I am impressed that the Army Scholarship Foundation has the financial capability to award so many scholarships to so many deserving children of Army personnel. I have no doubt that many of the recipients would not be able to further their education without the assistance of ASF.
I would encourage everyone to support ASF in order to ensure that the Foundation has the resources to support deserving students in the future.
