Mission: Arizona State Parks Foundation is the statewide non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing, and advocating for Arizona's state parks. ASPF is committed to ensuring state park visitors affordable access to these natural, cultural, and recreational resources and the finest possible experience.
Programs: Verde river habitat improvement: aspf is conducting, through its volunteer affiliate friends of verde river greenway, the verde river cooperative invasive plant management initiative, a project that is improving riparian habitat in the verde river basin through removal of invasive plants. Civil war at picacho peak state park event: the event attracted more than 3,000 visitors to the park over a two-day period. This outstanding attendance affirms aspf's commitment to supporting meaningful programming at arizona state parks that attracts visitors. Entrance fees paid by visitors to this and other special events throughout arizona state parks support park operations.
