Mission: To build and improve the quality, participation, and excellence of all events sponsored by the grand canyon state games, and to serve as a model for other states across our nation.
Programs: The arizona sports council dba grand canyon state games is designed to promote amateur sports and give all arizonans the opportunity to take part in athletic competition with an olympic-style atmosphere. Events include winter, summer, and native american games, as well as art and essay contests. The organization also supports programs for at risk youth as alternatives for drugs, gangs, violence, and crime.
