Mission: The arizona dental foundation provides charitable dentistry programs to children, seniors, and invididuals with a special need. We do this by mobilizing volunteers; identifying and linking resources; and by offering education programs for dental professionals.
Programs: Charitable dentistry for adults- special olympics special smiles and donated dental services. 423 individuals with a special need received screenings and/or athletic mouthguards at special olympic games throughout arizona. An additional 29 seniors and medically compromised adults received $143,486 in free restorative dental services.
give kids a smile/charity care - provides charitable dentistry for title i school children statewide. In 2016, 1,104 children received $460,467 in free dental treatment.
continuing education for dental professionals- annually over 500 dental professionals participate in continuing education programs that assist them in obtaining and maintaining their dental license.
cdhc scholarships for rio salado community college dental school: in keeping with adf's education roots, the foundation provided $22,921 in scholarships to 29 students enrolled in the community dental health coordinator program at rio salado community college dental school.
