Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Nurture an inspirational environment for individuals to self express through the Arts, and to develop their creative abilities.
Results: The Arizona Consortium’s current goal is to create a multicultural arts center where children, teens and adults will become inspired to develop their creative abilities. Artists, writers, photographers, dancers and musicians will share their expertise in a gallery-theater setting. Everyone, from novices to professionals, will be welcomed to learn and share their expertise there. We would like to build a new facility or find an existing one that will provide enough space for a theater, gallery, art studios, classroom and cafe. The gallery will host art exhibits by exposing Arizona artists. The center we will hold open mic nights for writers and poets to read and share their work. The theater will be a place for musicians and performance groups to rehearse and perform. We will offer classes by the finest regional professional teachers and artists.We also plan to install a dark room for photographers! The arts center itself will be a showcase of unique architecture, sustainability and technology.
