Programs: The organization manages federal housing grants, awarded through hud, for individuals with behavioral health needs. In addition, the organization administers numerous housing programs, including tenant based rental assistance programs, shelter and services for persons with serious mental illness, permanent housing to persons with serious mental illness, permanent housing to persons with hiv/aids and transitional housing to homeless families. Abc contracts with two housing providers, as well as the regional behavioral health authority to provide housing and services through these programs. Over 1,600 individuals and families experiencing homelessness are provided with tenant based rental assistance.
