A concept unique to the Coachella Valley, CA which is a dog lovers paradise. Ari Had a Dream dog sanctuary offers two programs to put at ease the minds of senior citizens and military personnel who worry about their four-legged best friends when they not around. The Care 4 Life program allows seniors to will their dog to be taken care of for life when they pass or if they're incapacitated for a period of time.Military Mutts allows military personnel to serve without added worry by giving their dogs over for care until they're able to return to them. There's no charge for either program which has 24/7 access to a veterinarian and is volunteer driven by compassionate, animal loving personnel. What a relief to have AHAD to turn to!
We have been assisting Ari Had a Dream for about a year now, helping to get the word out about their services. Carrol and her team are wonderful to work with, and they truly have the best interests of the animals and their owners at heart. Ari Had a Dream offers a very valuable service to those in need, and we applaud their efforts for our community.

The "Care 4 Life" Program provides lifelong care for dogs when their owners become too old to care for them. and The "Military Muttz" Program provides care for dogs of military personnel on deployment.
Both of these programs are so very important and do not get alot of attention.

As an employee of a veterinary hospital and as a volunteer for two dog rescues and a horse rescue, I have seen firsthand the stress and heartache that comes with loving a pet and not being able to take care of it, specifically because of health or military issues. Ari Had A Dream is a much-needed, caring, and beautiful solution to these issues. I have met and worked with Mrs. Magder and many of her volunteers, so I know what wonderful people they are and how the plans they have far exceed what I usually envision an animal rescue to be. They have come so far already, and I can't wait for them to start fulfilling their mission of helping both the animals and the people that love them, and I look forward to seeing how happy and well-taken care of any animals they take in will be.
Ari Had a Dream took great care of my 83 year old Mother's dog. My Mom is very particular in the care of her dog and they followed her requests to a "T". We will definitely be back!
As a sister of two active duty military members and the Mom of a soon to be commissioned Officer in the USMC, I’m grateful to an organization that understands that not every deployed member has family that can care for their fur babies while they are serving overseas. Thank you so much!
I am a senior with a younger dog. Chances are my dog will outlive me and this is a real worry to me. It is very comforting to know that I can put in my will that my pet is to go to Ari’s Place. I’ve never heard of anything like it. What a wonderful service! Thank you.
Ari Had a Dream, INC is an inspiring organization of the Coachella Valley. Through hard word and perseverance, Carrol has made a dream come true. I truly believe this organization will impact the community. Even more, Carrol is a wonderful person who has blessed my life. In all, this organization strives to help out anyone who doesn't have the financial needs to take care of their dog.
I, for one, am incredibly grateful for this dog sanctuary. Dogs are social animals, and their care for us is unmatched. None of us want to leave our beloved pet alone. Its rough on our consciences and even rougher on our beloved furry friends. Ari Had A Dream is providing a much needed service to the Coachella Valley. I wish there were more places like it around the country. It would make the world a better place.
Ari’s Place is a dog sanctuary that fills a void in the Coachella Valley. There is no other service like it in the area. The people served have been at great disadvantage, as they found themselves between a rock and hard place, until now. Ari’s Place will take care of dogs of the elderly who can no longer keep them, as well as dogs of deployed military while they are serving the country. This is a God-send for these families. Ari Had a Dream, Inc. is an inspired solution to a great need in our community. There are many elderly and military families in the Coachella Valley. These people have dogs that bring them love and comfort , enriching their lives. They want their pets cared for kindly when they no longer can or, in the case of the military,are on temporary duty elsewhere. Ari Had a Dream provides a free haven for their much loved dogs for however long the owner designates. The peace of mind it offers is priceless!
I am proud to be associated with a group who's soul purpose is to provide a permanent home for dogs who otherwise would not have one.

Ari Had a dream is a great non profit. It allows people who are deployed and can't afford to board their animals to have their pets taken care of while they are doing their service for this country. It allows seniors to have their pets taken care of when a senior can't take care of their own pet anymore and prevents the animal from being taken to a shelter. What a fabulous idea.

AHAD saves the lives of dogs and other animals that might otherwise be euthanized after their owners become no longer able to care for them. AHAD plays a VITAL role in filling this need, whether it be for seniors through the Care 4 Life Program or for our military personnel, through Military Muttz.
