Programs: The oregon special needs trust (osnt) is a program of the arc of oregon providing an affordable means of supplemental support for people with disabilities without jeopardizing governmental support. The special needs pooled trust provides individuals and families the vehicle to plan for their future and provide funds that may be used for supplemental needs of individuals throughout their lifetime. In 2016, the arc of oregon served 701 individuals enrolled in the osnt.
the guardianship, advocacy & planning services (gaps) program ensures a high quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through guardianship, advocacy, and health care representation services. As a guardian, gaps advocates and makes decisions concerning each individual's health, employment, residential, community, and quality of life needs. In 2016, the arc of oregon served 107 individuals with intellectual disabilities as guardians, advocates, and health care representatives.
