Mission: To minister to youth living in southeast lancaster city and beyond. To promote personal, spiritual, and educational growth in a safe, wholesome environment. To provide biblical, culturally-relevant, and holistic activities. To be a catalyst for establishing the youth, young adults, and their families in community churches.
Programs: We partner with individuals, churches, businesses, educational institutions and a wide range of organizations to serve as a cross-cultural advocate that challenges youth (ranging from 7 to 17) to become tomorrow's leaders. We are passionate about providing an intentional, high quality, after school program for some of lancaster's most at-risk youth. Our afterschool program runs four days per week and provides students with focus on academics, life skills, nutrition/fitness, performing arts and spiritual formation. During the 2014-15 school year, we averaged 80-100 students per day as they participated and were fully engaged in the enrichment opportunities provided at the center. We will continue to offer tutoring and homework assistance, small youth groups to assist with everyday issues, nutrition and fitness classes, private music lessons, spoken word poetry, and hip hop dance classes. In 2014 our summer programs served over 50 students teaching them about world cultures and computer skills. It is our goal to continue to give the students unique and relevant developmental opportunities.
