Mission: The mission of Arbor Hospice is to give comfort, assurance and care to families and patients who have life-limiting illnesses, and to educate and nurture others in this care. With branches in Ann Arbor, Trenton, and Northville, Arbor Hospice provides options for patients and families who are embarking on the end-of-life journey. Focused on Western Wayne County, Downriver and Washtenaw County, Arbor cares for a growing number of individuals and families in the greater Ann Arbor, Northville and Downriver communities with others in outlying areas such as Lenawee, Livingston and Oakland counties. Arbor Hospice?s main branch in Ann Arbor also is home to The Residence of Arbor Hospice, which cares for an average of 200 patients per year and is the central location of many of the Ann Arbor-area services and programs that Arbor Hospice offers. While other agencies may provide similar kinds of care, Arbor Hospice offers a complete range of primary and supplemental services at unsurpassed levels of quality. Without the assistance of direct public funding, this highly-recognized community resource has been recognized as one of the finest hospice agencies in the state.
