Researchers from around the world presented research and education on aps type 1 to approximately 125 attendees including physicians, families and patients with aps type 1 over three days at stony brook university.
applied for and awarded acceptance into the nord patient registry project. This project will benefit all aps 1 patient's in the usa (approximately 100 identified) by providing a data bank in the united states utilized by national researchers as well as researchers all over the world.
maintain an educational and support website for all involved in aps type 1 including patients, families, physicians and researchers. This website features presentations videotaped at the first and second international symposiums.
