Answers for Life Pregnancy Center

As a volunteer, I have been blessed to see how God brings clients here to get information, resources,material assistance, and God's love. Clients are finding jobs so that they feel better about themselves, and attending classes on parenting and making good,choices with money. There is a Bible study as well, and a client's needs are met in every way. Love to see God at work at this beautiful place!

Gosh - What can I say but it is one of the finest groups of individuals that God put on this planet individually meeting INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. These folks warmly welcome each and every person with the same gracious kindness as though they were addressing the Governor. They listen --really listen to each lady and their stories and their needs. They help each woman come to embrace love of children and family and help them put together their vision for themselves and their families, encouraging them to meet goals that they set. They have a genuine love of the unborn children as well a genuine love of mothers, siblings and dads. Their love and kindness is palpable, measurable and seen on the faces of those who volunteer their time and those who visit the clinic. Bravo!!!

In a very short time the Answers for life people have built a Pregnancy Resource Center including classes for parents, Furnishings for babies and toddlers, clothing and diapers, and a Medical Clinic with an M.D. The center is near a high school and is open to anyone in the Community needing Services for pregnancy, infants and children, including refugees and immigrants.

My husband and I (M.D. And R.N.) have been active in prolife activity since 1970 (yes, that was when our state was under atack by 10 pro-abortion doctors and Planned Parenthood to make abortion legal.) Much of that activity was speaking in our city's high schools and wherever else we could, emphasizing fetal growth and development! When an east side crisis pregnancy center closed, we witnessed the start up of Answes for Life by a great group of experienced counselors. In a very short time, they managed to purchase 2 buildings. I cannot adequately express the beauty, warmth, and compassion that women and their families encounter there. It is amazing! Volunteers literally flock to be of assistance . To accomplish so much in just 2 and 1/2 years is a miracle!

I visited Answeres For Life at their open house celebration. The facilities were so warm and welcoming and all of the volunteers were as well! I was excited about the amazing services offered. 2 sonogram rooms, counseling, education, not to mention all the clothing, toys, diapers, etc available to be given to the young single Moms and their children. I was also impressed that medical visits are given throughout their pregnancies by a volunteer doctor and RN! The love of Christ is so evident through this organization!

I am a volunteer counselor at AFL and have been since our beginning in November, 2013. I love being part of this ministry. Our director leads wisely, mentors us, is always available to us and frees us to do what each of us, in various capacities, does best. It is a privilege to work with so many volunteers with so many different gifts and talents so that we are best able to help meet the needs of our very precious clients. God is at the center of this ministry to be available to help women in need. We want them to know they are loved, know the truth, and know their options as well as provide needed services and material assistance. I count it a privilege to be part of AFL and am so thankful for all that God provides so that we can be a friend to women in need and sometimes in crisis.

I recently went to the Answers for Life open house. I was amazed with the site and the volunteers. It is such a beautiful facility and very well organized. Everything is geared to help the women who visit. The loving care of hand made booties, the supplies of clothing for newborns to toddlers, the formula, sonogram equipment, and even furniture are all there to help women in their choice for life. But far and above are the counselors who undergo intense training. Answers for Life is a wonderful and warm place to help pregnant women. You can be assured your gift will be used 100% to help these mothers and their families.

I am amazed at how God has brought over 30 volunteers together with only one modestly paid staff member. We support each other and work together as one body in Christ. We all have different gifts that complement each other. How blessed we are to be a part of God's plan to reach out to our clients and community. With Christ's love we desire to support and help in every way we can.

The counselors offer to pray with each client, and those of all faiths respond positively and often ask for prayer. It is very rare that a client declines prayer. I think of the counselors as being a God-sent therapist to those He brings to us. We truly do have the answer for life, His name is Jesus Christ.

We are always thankful for all of you who support AFL with prayer and donations. Your gifts allow us to serve our clients free of charge. If it were not for your various types of support for AFL, the outreach to clients would not exist.

Answers For Life is a caring, friendly place to help young women during and after their pregnancy, some in difficult circumstances. As a volunteer, I am pleased to be part of this ministry that continues to grow and meet the needs of our community. I have been with AFL since the beginning and have seen how God has provided everything, including staff, volunteers, finances, donations, buildings. We want to help our clientele with their needs, assuring them that God loves them and is with them.

I am on the board of Answers for Life Pregnancy Center and serve as a councilor and Ministry Director. I love to go to serve their because the atmosphere is friendly and loving. Being on the board, I know how we are very concerned about the use of donations that come in. We believe they are all sacrificial donations and not to be abused. We feel privileged to have only one paid staff and about 33 volunteers. So if you donate to this ministry, you can be sure that it all goes to operating costs and to the clients that come for pregnancy testing, Ultra Sound, lab fees for the free prenatal clinic.
How blessed we are to have recently opened a new building next door that supplies the clients with maternity clothing, baby clothing to size 5T, diapers, wipes, etc.
We love saving babies, but mostly saving the girl and her family by introducing them to our
Savior Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to hear from the clients that they love to come to our center because they know they are loved by us and Jesus.
