Mission: Ansaar-e-fatemi dawat inc. , nfp ("aefd") has been formed to carry out, among other things, pious, religious and charitable activities for followers of his holiness syedna taher fakhruddin in particular, as well as those in need anywhere in the world. Aefd will endeavor to feed the hungry, house the homeless, provide scholarships so that any talented, motivated individual can pursue his or her dream, build mosques and community centers, and provide religious education to followers of his holiness syedna taher fakhruddin. Aefd is also formed to advance, safeguard, defend and protect the religious principles including in particular the religious principles of the dawoodi bohra community led by his holiness syedna khuzaima qutbuddin and following his passing away in 2016 by his successor syedna taher fakhruddin.
Programs: Dawat case legal fund was established to support legal efforts ongoing in various jurisdictions of the world to establish that syedna khuzaima qutbuddin is the true successor and religious head (53rd dai-al-mutlaq) of dawoodi bohra community, and that shezada mufaddal saifuddin has wrongfully usurped this position. Donations of $160,000 were received from community members from which no payments have been paid during this year.
zakat fund was established to receive zakat donations made by any member of dawoodi bohra community during the month of ramadan. According to quranic principles, zakat funds are to be spent for the poor, the destitute, its administrators, those whose hearts are to be won over, freeing from bondage, helping those overburdened with debts, in allah's cause, and the wayfarer. It was decided that aefd will spend the amounts collected as zakat in light of these quranic principles, and for any other charitable or religious purposes of aefd.
general fund was established to receive other religious contributions such as fitra, hakkun nafs, kafarat, khumus, mannat, najwa, nazrul maqam, niyaz and silatul imam donations made by any member of dawoodi bohra community during the month of ramadan and throughout the year. These funds to be spent according to the religious purposes denoted by them or for any other charitable or religious purposes of aefd.
