This charity has a wonderful staff. They are frequently over worked and underpaid. Due to the lack of resources they were unable to assist me with finding shelter for my son and I, but they were emotionally available and able to help with a civil injunction for protection. The same court that supplied it, is the same court that nolle prosequi the violations, and so the violence was passed onto another victim and it escalated. This organization does everything the can to help victims and their children and for them it is an uphill battle. They are the only support system in 7 Florida Counties for Domestic Violence.
