Animal City is my dream non profit! For someone choosing not to have human children my fur baby means the world to me. In the case something would to happen to me that would result in uprooting my pup out of her home, Animal city is equipped to swoop in and take charge of my pup. The concept of Animal City is so thoughtful, giving piece of mind to my family, fur baby included.
Being an AnimalCity patron gives me peace of mind in knowing that if something happens to me tragically, that my 2 cats will be taken care of immediately and not end up in an animal shelter. I know my sister is Plan B but the reality is that she will be quite wrapped up in her own grieving process and will need interim help, if not forever. And the forever care plan that AnimalCity offers to me as a patron addresses all of that and gives the gap protection needed! I have registered both of my pets with AnimalCity and am at ease now that they will go to family members and not to a shelter. If your pets are a part of your family then this is just a responsible thing to do for them just as you would provide for your children. We all say "they are family too". After moving across the country for work, my husband and I realized that with no family in the area our beloved pets were at risk of going to animal control if something happened to us. It dawned on me that many people are in the same boat and that I could do something about it.
