I have been watching the videos you have been sharing with Jennifer and Dr. Doug (The Animal Cracker). She is so beautiful and I want to send love to you for taking Nugget, and all the animals you care for with your roommates! I have been wondering if the "Meth Addict" has been caught and if animal abuse could be an added charge in the state of residency? I struggle when I see the abuse off animals. As these animals rely on the love and care given by their owners/parents, I think it should be handled the way child abuse is handled. As a Christian, I know that HE is the only person to take revenge, but my heart wants SO bad to have the abused be abused in the same way by someone bigger and stronger!

God bless you!

I adopted the worlds greatest rescue from ARRUS and am proud to say that after spending very little time watching these amazing people work in this organization, I decided to volunteer and that was the day my life changed. My Saturday nights went from partying at the clubs to now cuddling under the covers watching movies with fosters all around me. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Rescue life is not easy, there are times when your heart breaks seeing what these innocent animals have endured but there has been nothing in my life that has been more rewarding then seeing a rescue walk away with a new chance at life (most of the time with tears in my eyes, but always happy tears)

Do not even bother going through the process with this organization. My sister recently had to euthanize her beloved Weimaraner Rocky. We expressed interest in a pup and were emailed back we were "under consideration" and they would contact us before the week was out. Nothing more. I sent a followup email on day 7 and was told "after careful consideration, we have decided to move on with other families" and basically have a nice life. We reside in a two family house with a fenced in yard. I am the proud owner of two Tabby Cats rescued from The Bergen County Animal Shelter as well as a two year old rescue from Puerto Rico from Companion Animal Placement in Hoboken and Little Ferry. Far better organization than this place. I am stunned to say the least. Please find a more deserving organization when you are willing to donate a save a Rescue

My experience with Animal Rescue R-US has been a very pleasant one. I adopted my first fur gal named Precious in August 2019. The process went smooth. The directors and volunteers treated me with the upmost professionalism. I keep in touch with them every other month and I am ready to adopt another fur gal in the coming weeks.
Keep up the Great work and continue rescuing these lovable

I have been waiting a while to share my story as it was just so awful and difficult to even put into words. I have been a pet owner for 15 years. I never was able to have children of my own and so my pets were/ are my babies. When my last dog passed I looked into adopting a new puppy. After a few back and forth emails I was told that they didn’t feel I was a good fit for a puppy as I was not a stay at home mother. They felt that puppies are a lot of work and time and that a stay at home mom would best meet the needs of a puppy. I was heartbroken. Not only is this down right discrimination but so hurtful on so many levels. . I wish I could be a stay at home mom and have children running around but that was not my life path. To anyone reading this you know how ridiculous this sounds. Being a great animal parent does not mean you need to be a stay at home parent. I could
Keep going on and on about this but I think to anyone who has a heart and loves animals they will understand how ludicrous this entire scenario is. Please look elsewhere for your animals there are many rescues out there who are much kinder and compassionate human beings.

This organization is awful. The directors lie about the dogs, and once the adoption is finalized, they do not want to hear from you. After being told the dog I adopted was great with other dogs and kids, he bit a person and another dog within 24 hours. They refuse to refund my money

DO NOT use this rescue!!! They are dishonest liars. We adopted a dog on Sat. According to them, the dog was "great" with other dogs and children, and had no history of biting. Long story short, within 24 hours of having the dog, he bit another dog and a person. They claimed he was pad trained, NOT, and they said he was kept in a gated kitchen to sleep. What they failed to mention is that the gate needed to be at least 4 feet tall, because he jumped over my regular height dog gate. After returning the dog at the advise of my professional dog trainer, they still refused to refund my money.

I REPEAT. DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION

DO NOT adopt from this rescue. They are liars. I recently adopted a dog who was said to be "lively" and "great with other dogs" on his description. When we went to the meet n' greet, I had asked if he was potty trained or had ever exhibited any behaviors such as biting. I was told he was pad trained and never had any history with biting. I had the dog home 5 min and went to correct a misbehavior of his and he snapped and bit me. And he was not at ALL pad trained. Went to the bathroom everywhere but the pad. And as for "being great with other dogs". At a beginner dog training class, which was absolutely necessary for this dog as he had no manners or any kind of training whatsoever, this dog attacked another dog completely unprovoked and would not stop lunging and excessively barking at the other dogs and handlers.
I immediately let the rescue know of everything that happened as they completely misrepresented this dog and lied about all of his behaviors. After everything that he has done they wouldn't even refund the $450 adoption fee. I had this dog no more than 24 hours. Do not trust this rescue.

I adopted a puppy from them. I asked if he had any health issues or a parasite I should know about. I was told no. In the car home I heard the puppy making a strange noise. I thought he had kennel cough. I rushed him to the vet and was told he had a collapsed trachea. I received a call from the vet the next day saying he had ga parasite. Paid 500 for adoption fee and more in vet bills. Don’t trust this rescue. They would not pay vet bills even though they lied. I feel sorry for the animals
