Mission: The Animal Protection League of Okaloosa County, Inc is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 Florida nonprofit corporation chartered in 1981. We believe that spay and neuter is the key to reducing euthanasia of companion animals. The APL offers an affordable Spay, Neuter and Vaccination program to reduce the growing number of unwanted pets. The program is available to anyone seeking assistance in our area. Our primary purpose and goals are to: 1) Provide financial assistance for pet spay or neuter, 2) Promote humane treatment of animals, 3) Offer educational programs on responsible pet ownership and 4) Promote and support animal welfare and legislation.
