I am shocked this dog warehouse is still in operation. Should not be advertised as a rescue or anything that misleads people into visiting this place. Obviously there has been no inspections performed by the state of NJ. Shame on them
Interested adopters must wait on the feces caked pavement outside. Dead flies smeared on the window, soiled piles of newspaper viewed through the window.. I attempted to open the door, but a young man rushed out of the back. Diane than showed up and shouted at the young man " why is the door unlocked, why did you let them in ! She slammed the door telling us we had to go outside and she would bring the dogs out. It was a cold rainy day. We had an appoint. We requested to see the dog we picked on line.. she snapped "that dog is not here, and I am not going to get it! We came a distance . This interaction was unreal somewhat frightening. These poor dogs.
I truly don’t know where to begin, other than that the day I picked up the phone and called Animal Alliance was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. We encountered a complex and unfixable problem between our dogs and I was at my wits end in full tears for weeks. I connected with Annie Trinkle and within seconds, she not only calmed me down, but she was full of valuable information, honesty, compassion, and care. Her communication was outstanding and it was evident that her love and experience with dogs is immeasurable. Our dogs could no longer live in the same house and Annie was the liaison helping with the rehoming process. She found the absolute perfect new family for our pup and is thriving in her new home! There was a thorough screening process and Annie was sensitive to how emotional it was for us. Our family is forever grateful to Annie and Animal Allliance!!!
The owner and staff are very caring, helpful and dedicated. You can tell they love what they do, as busy as they are they keep smiles on their faces. They help me with my cats when I needed help the most and are always open to be there for you at just a phone call away. I would recommend them to any friends and family to adopt from them.
Recently had a bad experience with another rescue shelter and Animal Alliance proved to be the perfect antidote. They take the time needed to match pets with adopters and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We are so happy with our new rescue pup and she is settling in nicely. Communication is key to the process and we never doubted that we were in good hands.
Animal Alliance in Lambertville, NJ. I was called about rescuing a dog from this rescue and from the moment I starting the first conversation there was this demeaning tone and attitude towards me. I responded that I had a dog that weighed 50 lbs. I am trying to adopt a small. They immediately took on the position that I was unacceptable as an adopter for ANY small dog. None of this is stated in their statements regarding g adoption. They treated very rudely like I had done something g- when actually I am trying to do something very generous Loving snd kindness towards a rescued animal. I have felt so humiliated by these two woman that I talked to on 2 separated occasions today.
What has to peoples demeanor or kindness. A simple level of respect was what I am entitled to - what we ALL are entitled to and that was sorely missing. I cannot in good conscience recommend this foundation. I seriously question the people involved. I will be reporting to whom ever would be able to take responsibility single action.
This whole experience was dreadful. Caveat Emptor!!!!!!!!!
Brought a dog to be neutered here and they completely ghosted me. Never came to get him in the parking lot (covid). We sat there for an HOUR. Calling was useless - straight to voicemail every time - and no one answered when we knocked. After reading some of their google reviews of how theyve MUTILATED other people's pets, I'm almost glad they stood me up. This place sucks.
We tried a few places to rescue and a dog and got very lucky at Animal Alliance of Lambertville. The staff is very friendly and professional. They made the transaction extremely easy but they also care very much about the family that their animals are going to be a part of. Can’t say enough positive things about Annie and her staff. We are in love with our little Hurley.
I was first introduced to Animal Alliance when I found my Jack Russell, Tater, through them. They were professional and really forward-thinking about how great adoption is...but also that we can't adopt our way out of the pet over-population problem. It's that combo of great compassion for rescuing and finding loving homes for the most horribly abused and neglected animals -- combined with a very businesslike and frugal approach to finances -- that makes them the primary recipient of my donated time and money. AA has a low-cost spay/neuter center, and recently opened a brand-new storefront adoption center to help showcase our amazing adoptees. Now we have TWO dogs from AA, and we love being involved with their amazing work.
I have been involved with Animal Alliance for over 10 years: adopted two dogs, foster parent to puppies, volunteer in our clinic and board member.
Animal Alliance is known in our community for rescuing animals from perilous situations and providing low cost spay/neuter and wellness services. Many of the animals at Animal Alliance are victims of cruelty and neglect and arrive at our doorsteps injured, ill or emaciated.
We have a spay/neuter clinic and a new adoption center in Lambertville, NJ.
All donations go directly to the care and well being of the animals. We are a volunteer organization that has been in the Lambetville area for over 10 years.
If you are in the neighborhood, please stop by our adoption center and say 'hello'.
Animal Alliance is an amazing group of volunteers dedicated to the cause of rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. As a volunteer and current Board Member, I HIGHLY recommend Animal Alliance. As a result of this group's tireless efforts over 11+ years, there are countless heartwarming success stories!
