This organization has a unique and critical mission providing a voice on behalf of farmers and ranchers across the entire animal agriculture community with key stakeholders. Recognizing that farming and ranching is part of our nation's critical infrastructure, and recognizing less than 2% of the U.S. public is directly involved in producing our food, the Alliance helps farmers prepare for threats, trends, policies, etc. that could negatively impact their ability to do business. The organization is very intentional with every dollar spent to ensure programs and services align with its mission, and it has a long track record of ensuring more than 90% of every dollar goes toward programs and services supporting farmers and ranchers. Mission: We safeguard the future of animal agriculture and its value to society by bridging the communication gap between the farm and food communities. We connect key food industry stakeholders to arm them with responses to emerging issues. We engage food chain influencers and promote consumer choice by helping them better understand modern animal agriculture. We protect by exposing those who threaten our nation’s food security with damaging misinformation.
