If you are looking for a place to send your loved with poor ventilation, where they will be disrespected, yelled at, treated like, than Angies House may be the place that you are looking for! At Angies House, it’s all about the money, Angie loves your money!!! Angies House claims to be a rehab center, well I guess like mechanic shops, there are good ones and there are bad ones. If your loved one is staying at Angies House and they mention the less than desirable conditions, it is likely that Angie will go full ghetto on your loved one, yell at them and send them packing! As in my sons case, this may be a violation of their probation which will likely get your loved one arrested and put in jail, she does not care and seems to enjoy having this kind of power over her clients!
May I suggest do your homework and do not believe the positive reviews which I believe to be fake!!!
TO ANGIE:
If you do not want your clients complaining about the poor conditions, may I suggest fixing the undesirable conditions along with the poor ventilation and treat people with a little respect!!!!
Do not believe these reviews. My son was a tenant for a short period of time and I can tell you with 100% certainty that this place is a horrible place. You will be disrespected, have your items stolen and be kicked out if you question anything. The ventilation is horrible in the winter and worse in the summer. I personally spoke to Angie and she was the most Ghetto, disrespectful I have ever spoke with. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POSITIVES, they were probably written by Angie and can not be trusted!
I can't say enough positive things about Angie's House. Angie has a heart of gold. All her homes are pet-friendly which is huge. Pets are very healing and can truly give people a reason to live. Companionship and love... it can heal the heart.
Over the years, I had been helping a guy who lives in one of her apartments who had an elderly cat whose fur would mat and I would go over and groom her a couple times a year for free. He also had a dog, a big St Bernard, who Angie's House paid to have her toenails trimmed at a local groomer and bathed. He always spoke highly of Angie expressing gratitude for her help.
Recently I needed help with my diabetic dog who, on top of the diabetes, had gone blind about a month after being diagnosed. He's dealing amazingly great with the blindness but the diabetes is a frightening disease and very costly. I had spent all my savings getting his diabetes regulated, putting him on a special diet, testing his blood, seeing vets - I was going into debt and struggling to handle any more. I was having trouble affording his insulin. I was in a real pickle. I called Angie to see if she could help me and without hesitation she said yes! I am beyond grateful. Angie truly is an angel.
The work done by Angie's House is vital to our community. They help some of our most in-need neighbors at the time they are most desperate.
I had an opportunity to visit with Angie and the caretaker at one of her houses. I had a very good interaction with Ken as well as the gentle 'guard' dog. Everything looked and felt very inviting ;I would highly recommend it!
Angie is an amazing woman helping so many people, and their pets, in her hometown community.
If I was in the unfortunate position to require her kind of services, she would be my first call!
We are blessed to have this woman in our community!
Angie was very nice and friend-like from the start...Enjoyed chatting with her on the phone aound she allowed texting.....The shelter was above average and Diane was exceptionally nice and professional....a little more emphasis on quiet hours when possible, but definitely understand this is a shelter environment!!! Thanks again Angie and Diane! Robert E
You won't find nicer, more willing to help person in all of northern Arizona than Angie of Angie's House. She helped me by having a place to stay when I first got to Cottonwood and shortly after that had a room available in a nice group house. It's not free but it is very reasonable. She is my landlord but I also consider her a friend who will listen to my troubles. When my cat was sick, she made it able for me to go to a vet and get medication. I couldn't have done it on my own and for that I'm extremely grateful to her.
If you need a place to stay for a month or a year in Cottonwood AZ, contact Angie's House. You won't be disappointed.
I met Angie because of my Drug addiction. I moved into "Home Sweet Home" 1/2 way-house & after Graduating I became a Manager and worked as that for 3 years. Even after being unjustly accused of doing drugs while a Manager she stood by my word that I wasn't, Reinstated me as a manager after a UA proved me right. And when I run across a person in NA who needs a warm room & on the streets due to a "Drug Problem" but is trying to get the DUCKS herded She only says "Give them my number and have them call me now" no matter what time of day or night it is.
Angie has ALWAYS been an Advocate for Animals working with the Animal Shelters to catch, neuter, & release Feral cat in Cottonwood and sponsor Adoptions of "Fur Babies" at the Shelters. She called me & told me of Cemeron a 11 year old male Chihuahua mix who was at the shelter FOR OVER A YEAR & no one wanted him....He's been a member of my "Herd" now for a couple of years a REALLY GREAT Pup and when she hears of Seniors having problems with a Vet bill STEPS RIGHT UP and helps. She even arranged for a Mobile Vet to help a Friend when his 13 year old Pup needed to be put down and he is a Shut-in and a Vet visit was difficult She had a Vet there within hours. And when my 16 year old Chihuahua had a stroke 2 days ago her only reply was "let me know if I can help" and the only question was "Did U get him into the Vets?" I have had Jake for 11 years & he was my service animal for PTSD, unfortunately my little Burrito didn't make it. If it were not for Angie I would have been HARD PRESSED to get Jake the care he Deserved
THANK YOU for being there no matter which services are needed
The men's Houses that are part of the Angie's system have been successful in making a difference in many of the men's lives. Men who were addicted to drugs or alcohol have been able to overcome their addictions and reenter the society and are making a difference they maintain their sobriety hold jobs reconnected with families and have found peace in their lives. None of this would be possible without Angie Lazono and her tireless efforts to make a difference in their lives and the community
Angie has many homes where she helps people in need have a place to stay they can afford. She helps so much in the community. She has always been there when I needed help. Dependable, trustworthy, and always out to help when and where ever she can. She cares about people and animals alike. She has a homeless shelter in the winter so no one goes cold. Others are always in her thoughts.

We have lived next door and up the block from 2of Angies House's. She keeps them repaired, and looking good all the time. Her tenants have not bother us at all. If we see something that needs corrected. We call and she's on it in a very timely manner. They do not pull down the neighborhood in any way. Because of the condition they are kept in.Working with Angie has always been very productive. She is honest, hardworking, and throws herself in completely when working on anything to help the community. Her community spirt is so awesome. She has always been there to help I when she can in all kinds of situations. Her non profit organization is so amazing for this community as a whole. Without her nonprofit org. Many would be homeless and end up who knows where. Her progress on the homeless shelter in the winter is amazing. I'm proud to know she and her non profit are in our community and they make such a difference. ...
One of the only shelters that will take anyone as well as their pets. Angie and her husband are great community members to help lots of folks!

Met Angie through local Homeless Alliance, and occasionally bring supplies to her shelter/house. Angie & her husband go above & beyond to help the homeless. They run the only place in the Cottonwood area where people can go to get off the street & even bring their pets. The compassion she & her husband show to all is amazing. I wish there were more of it, it's a rarity. Thank you Angie!
I work over at Tumbleweed Animal Hospital and Angie is always there when families are in need of help for there furr babies, She has a heart of gold and in my eye's she was sent to us from up above! Thank you Angie for every thing you do
I've been lucky enough to be helped by Angie's House twice. The first time was what I would say a normal stay, to save money and find our own home. The second time, was anything but normal. My family suffered a devastating loss, resulting in homelessness for my daughter and myself. Because we live in a small town, news spreads quick. When Angie became aware of our situation, I received a text from her stating if I needed anything to let her know. Well not having an income resulted in losing our home. Nowhere to go, no money, I didn't know what I was going to do. I texted Angie. She immediately told me to go to her homeless shelter. Then, I got a text from Angie the next day telling me she had a room available and to go to that address. Angie knew I had no income, but that did not stop her from giving us a room. She was/is very supportive during this terrible time. Always giving me leads to jobs, counseling groups, etc. At the same time, my 9 month old puppy got an infection. I went to the Facebook pages for help and Angie covered the expenses. Angie goes above and beyond to help anyone she can. She is extremely helpful and compassionate. She truly has a heart of gold. I am and will be forever thankful I picked up the phone and called her everyday, until she had a room open the first time. I truly don't know what I would've done without the help of Angie's House.
I was given a rescue dog in September 2014. Living on a very low income , you may imagine the challenges of licencing and shots as well as care for horribly cared for feet and dew claws. Angie's House stepped up right away and helped me to love my new family member into a great dog companion! My Ozzie isnt the best at greeting other dogs, being raised in a shelter can do that. Angie has been there to guide me through difficult decisions including some concerning surgery and choice of training, she helped me to get hiking boots to protect his paws from cactus while hiking. She even helped me through a time when i was considering giving him away because of his difficult behaviours. I wouldnt have my best buddy if Angies House didnt exist.
Angie's house has provided a safe, clean, well maintained house for those in transition for various needs. I have personally had family members and close friends that have rented room and their experiences and outcomes have always been good with a catalyst for them to move forward. There are resources, and outreach services that are offered and available while in the home. Angie's house meets the needs of a community, with a loving and non judgmental approach, providing space for those in need. Angie's house Is what Mother Theressa did in Calcutta. What other place in our entire surrounding area helps and comforts, feeds and loves the down trotted and needy, those that need a fresh start?
Angie's house does, and
may her loving heart, caring soul, and God filled heart be blessed and honored.

I was a client of AngiesHouse and rented a shared home from Sept 2016 to Sept 2017. Because of Angie, I was able to keep my 2 dogs with me and get back on my feet during the time I rented from her.
I cannot speak highly enough about AngiesHouse and to anyone in the verde valley facing the reality of being homeless, you owe it to yourself to call Angie and arrange to meet with her. You won't be sorry!
Angie, has helped many when everyone has turned their backs on them. Angie’s house helps people who are faced with challenges in life such as addiction, being homeless & mental illness. At Angie’s house everyone is treated with respect and is given the opportunity to work towards independent living. If you feel you need help with your life, Angie’s House may be the start to a new beginning. Give them a call.
Angies House is a awesome place! They help so many in the community that wouldn't be able to get the help anywhere else. They provide clothing, housing and food for not only the humans in need but their pets as well.
Angie is ALWAYS there when needed to help in any way she can. She always seems to have the answer for what is needed and jumps in to action.
I am a single mom and love dogs. Angie's house helped me get them fixed with their Parvo shots and helped me find out what was wrong with my old man. Thank you so much...my dogs and I would be suffering if it wasn't for the caring giving heart of Angie...
Angie's House is a place that should exist in every community. Angie has helped so many in need and it's not just people, she's helped man's best friend too. I, 100% support Angie's House in everything they do for our town. There is no other resource for love and compassion that stretches beyond people and animals in need.
