I felt the love and warmth of this organization from the moment I stepped through it's doors. Angels' Place truly embodies the nurturing, caring and helpful persona they've built over the last 40 years. The organization is truly a blessing and each individual who works here genuinely cares about the community they serve.
I have had the pleasure of serving on the Angels' Place Board of Directors for nearly two years; it has been an honor to be involved in supporting and shaping the future of this amazing organization. I am in awe of the dedication of the staff of Angels' Place in shaping the future of two generations!
Angels' Place is making an amazing impact on two generations every day. They have a team of caring staff members who are dedicated to providing high quality childcare and services for parents as they pursue an education. It's a wonderful organization that is always working so hard to meet the needs of their clients. Such an asset to the community!

We have partnered with Angels' Place for the past year and we cannot say enough good things about this amazing organization. The staff are the most positive, caring and helpful individuals. They always put the needs of each of their little ones first and create such a safe and fun environment for the children to learn and grow. They are always looking at ways to grow and develop their team in order to stay present and be able to provide the best care for all of their little ones. We could not be more proud to be a partner of Angels' Place.
I volunteered for Angels' Place and saw first hand the loving care that they provide for all of their children and parents. I absolutely love the way they sit down each day all together to eat their lunch and share in their day together. Every child is a member of the Angels' Place family. You will never find a more loving and nurturing childcare program.
Angels' Place is a great organization, with a fantastic, caring staff, fulfilling a need in the community by helping young parents and their children get off to a good start in life. Can't say enough good about them!

I have been volunteering at Angels Place for some time now. I chose Angels Place to volunteer for because I can't think of a better way to help others to educate and support themselves and raise their children in an environment of learning. Its a wonderful program.

There are not enough words to express what Angels’ Place means to me. I became a teenage mother my senior year of high school. If it wasn’t for this organization I would likely not have graduated from high school. Not only did I graduate, I was able then to continue my education and become a registered nurse. Most importantly, my son spent the first 3 1/2 years of his life being lovingly cared for and educated by wonderful and loving people. It was this care and compassion that allowed me the peace of mind to focus on school and create a better life for us. I am honored to now be a member of the Board of Directors, helping to ensure others will continue to be blessed with this incredible organization!

Angels' Place is a wonderful organization that is making a tremendous impact in the lives of children, parents, and the community. They have been providing the highest level of child development services since the mid-1980's. Parents who would otherwise have not been able to complete their education are provided an opportunity to pursue the education needed to brighten the future for them and their children. At the same time, the children are provided high quality child care and child development services to enable them to succeed when they begin school. In this way, two generations are being served!
I have been involved with Angels' Place since 2012 and have never come across a more ethical, committed and faithful group of people in my life. No one takes the well being of a child more to heart than this group of people. I would readily put my four children in their care

After graduation, I spent a year of service working at Angels' Place. It is a loving, supportive child care and early childhood education center that does great work. Everyone who works there is giving 120% to make sure these families have the best experience possible.
I love absolutely everything about Angels place. I love that all of the teachers genuinely care for our children, and our children love the teachers. I love that in the morning my son is always so excited to go to school. I love our parenting meetings because it's a nice time to share ideas, thoughts and generally just being able to get to know the other mothers. I love that the children pray before meals, and the structure they learn from Angels Place.
I've learned to be more responsible. I've also learned to voice things more and to work better around a schedule.
I have been associated with Angels’ Place for fifteen years or so as a Board member, and the review by "midnight 72" is outrageous.
We are highly accredited by Keystone Stars and by NAEYC. We have in place a grievance procedure for any of our clients to pursue. If this person was truly a client and if she was aggrieved by anything, she had the obligation to go through our grievance procedure. She did not do that.
I would also expect that any parent who believed her child to have been abused would complain to the police. That was not done.
This review is by a disgruntled person in serious need of help and is done strictly for the purpose of spreading slanderous lies and hurting a wonderful organization. If the person who posted this review has any questions or complaints, I invite her to contact me.
As a single mother, you face challenges everyday....but when you add trying to finish school and work onto your already heaping responsibilities, the last thing you want to worry about is if your chlid is in a safe environment when you aren't there. That is why I am EXTREMELY grateful for finding Angel's Place. I have had the pleasure of letting my daughter thrive in their Northside facility since she was just a wee 10 months old!! Since then under the careful, loving and watchful eyes of the teachers, volunteers, and other staff she has grown leaps and bounds!! I love how they all care for the children as if they were their very own--its very comforting to know that you have a "Guardian Angel" watching over them while you are away.
They also provide their clients with support--an ear, a hug, friendly and encouraging advice-- when they need it. They have generously provided things that most of us probably may not have been able to afford, like an extra coat for yourself and your child, dishes or supplies (diapers, cribs, clothes). Angel's place has been an extreme blessing in our lives.
Thank you for all you do and continue to do for us and the community.
I have been volunteering at Angels' Place for at least five years now and I believe in and care about the program more than ever. I am convinced that our little children will become more responsible citizens for having spent time at Angels' Place. It is a loving, caring place where children are taught how to treat other people, manners, personal hygiene, good eating habits, preschool and general life skills. Angels' Place is a great gift to the Pittsburgh community.

I was left with a huge hole in my heart when my husband passed away. Volunteering at Angels' Place has helped to patch that hole. It is such a marvelous program helping out young women who are trying to better their lives and preparing their dear little ones to be good, caring friends and citizens at very tender ages. Pittsburgh is very fortunate to this organization.
When I found out at 16 years old that I was pregnant, I thought my dreams of going to college were over. Very fortunately, I found Angels' Place. They provided my son with a warm, loving, home-like environment while I attended high school. They taught me how to be the best parent I could be. They encouraged me to go on to college, which I did. Both my son and I were treated with so much love and respect. I never would have been able to fulfill my dreams without them. I could never thank them enough for all they did for us. They enabled me to become a socia worker - so that today I feel like I get to give back a little, as so much was given to me. WONDERFUL organization!!!!!
Review from The Pittsburgh Foundation
My family has been involved with Angel's Place for the last 15 years. We lost our eldest Son suddenly from a massive brain hemmorhage 15 years ago. In his memory we founded a 501C3 Charitable Foundation and began to raise money to donate to honor his memory. We chose Angel's place as our first organization to be involved with and have been with them ever since, first and foremost as donors but also as volunteers and supporters. They are an amazing organization that gives young parents an opportunity to receive an education knowing that their child is being cared for in a loving and nurturing environment at no cost to the parent. They also teach the parents through classes and resposibilities at the centers to mature and be good parents. My family feels very srongly in the Mission of Angel's Place .

Angels' Place is a wonderful organization. It seeks to give hope and a promising future to some of the most vulnerable in the city of Pittsburgh. There are many obstacles for young parents who want to finish their education, but Angels' Place is committed to overcoming those obstacles. This is an organization that truly makes a positive and deep impact in the lives of so many.
This is such a worthwhile organization. They help young women, who find themselves pregnant, finish their education while getting the proper care for their child in a wonderful setting geared towards teaching the children as well as caring for them. I have never seen a staff more dedicated and hard working. My family has been so impressed that my son is using Angels' Place as his highschool community project and my husband volunteers once a week to make any necessary repairs to the property as needed. They are so appreciative of any help given them that you can't help wanting to go back and give more.
