Angels on stage has been a life changing experience for my daughter. She looks forward to the new season every year. We have met wonderful families and many many success stories.
Angels on stage takes all kids with all kinds of disabilities. Wheel chairs, walkers, talking devices you name it. Each child is accompanied by a buddy coach who is a high school student looking to volunteer in a nurturing environment. The kids learn to sing dance and have a role to play along with their own script. My daughter has made friends to last her lifetime. Her confidence has increased and she is just happy on stage. Its great for the whole family.
Angels on Stage was one of the first encounters I had with children with disabilities. I was unsure and nervous on my first day, but the moment I walked into the room and saw the angels' smiling face and the staff's welcoming attitude, I knew this was something I would look forward to every weekend. I have been a part of Angels on Stage for two years, and will now be entering my third year as a buddy coach. In the months we do not have practices, I am waiting to come back because of the amazing and loving community they have created. They are a family who always has their arms outstretched, welcoming more people into this inspiring and wonderful community.
