ANGELS' ARMS

Angels Arms is like no other. I love that they work with the community and that they serve kids even after they transition out of care. The mission to keep siblings together is important as so many are split up when they come into care. The fact that Angels' Arms give families the chance to keep siblings together is while I love this organization so much.

I had a friend who made a donation to this group and posted about it on Facebook. I clicked on the organizations name and then looked into them. This organization helps keep foster kids together as a family unit so that they are not separated. Family is something that my wife and I are strong supporters of family. Since that first interaction with them many years ago, we have been involved with photographing their events, money drives for birthdays, and providing food and children's gifts. We arrange our travels around their main events so that we ensure that we are there to support this great organization.

Angels' Arms organization focuses on providing the best foster experience for children and their siblings. Their dedication to what they believe in, their events to raise funds, and the amount of care is always present in all they do. Not only are they an organization to raise funds via events, but they have built support within the community for year round donations, and contributions for special items kids may request to be involved in. It isn't about providing money and a home to these kids, the families and organization provide their love, creating lasting memories, and continued support even as children age out of the normal foster system.

Angels' Arms has made fostering so much easier for our large family. There is never enough to go around when we foster 6+ children. Angels' Arms helps our children celebrate life just like any other child. The children get to celebrate their birthday, pick a halloween custom, celebrate Christmas in style, and have opportunities for dance classes or sports. This past summer several of our children were sponsored for summer cam. I could have never sent them to such events. Best part...individual angels swing by our home and bring dinner. The children are embraced with love through their service. To all the angels out there.....Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

I have volunteered with this wonderful charity for 21 years, and watched as we’ve grown from one house to 15. Foster children and parents get unbelievable support for every aspect of their journey. Sibling groups can stay together. Troubled teens find love, acceptance and guidance. We have a 100% high school graduation rate. Young children are enveloped in loving arms, sometimes having their first birthday party ever. Our volunteers/ talents are varied and their contributions are always acknowledged. Angels’ Arms has my heart and is my passion. I feel honored to be a part of their story.

My name is Jen Wallner and I am a former foster child. Growing up I knew that I always wanted to give back to the foster children because I personally know the importance of stability and support while being in foster care. I was blessed to be told about Angels' Arms and the amazing resources they provide to foster families and foster children. I have been honored to support this wonderful organization over the past 8 years and watch the incredible impact Angels' Arms has had in the lives of so many foster families, foster children & even myself. From making sure foster children have the basic necessities as well as normal childhood activities such as dance or soccer lessons to encouraging them to achieve their goals, graduate high school, get a career & even their own place! It truly is a big community family raising these foster children and you can see how much love we have for each and every one of them. This organization has captured my heart and I am truly honored to be a small part in making a huge difference in the lives of foster children.

This is a fantastic charity! Angels' Arms' goal is to keep children from the same family together when they are placed in the foster care system. Too many families are broken up during this very stressful and unhappy time. The charity purchases homes for the foster parents and the children who will live there. They also make sure their needs are met to keep a well run house.
