My daughter has the unfortunate experience to be in a group home run by this non profit organization. The house is shared by two other mature females all who are living in separate bedrooms. There were no smoke detectors or carbon monixide detectors and this was noted by a field staff member and mentioned to the staff. I ended up arguing with the program coordinator after an attempted friendly conversation. The landlord and the Mellilo people each refused to install them. I installed them for my daughter and the other ladies in order to get it done so they are safe. The house also has no rental permit with the town it is located in as required. I received a letter from the program coordinator that they checked the house and the detectors were in place. The letter stated the ladies are rezpinsible to inspect the house upon entry. They are not home inspectors. A complete fabrication.
The beligerance and refusal to comply with local and state codes will net them a complaint with the town and the county.
Simply awful! Front desk staff is rude and insensitive to patient needs. Its virtually impossible to schedule a proper appointment. Might as well be talking to a wall when meeting with a "therapist"....you'd get more of a response! Psychiatrists well write you up any prescription without taking everything into account first. And worst of all, will discharge you at the first sign of "improvement"!! What kind of help is that!? Wish I could give this zero stars. They don't deserve even one.
