Mission: The angeles clinic foundation's purpose is to sponsor and support programs, services, education, advocacy and research related to cancer. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of people touched by cancer.
Programs: 1. Educating and informing the public about new developments in cancer research, treatment, prevention and clinical trials. 2. Education of physicians and other healthcare professionals about new developments in cancer research, treatment, prevention and clinical trials, including post-doctoral training of physicians in oncology specialization. 3. Convening interdisciplinary symposia of top scientists, clinical researchers and clinicians to promote collaboration and develop concensus views on the state of the field and identify important research questions to be addressed in order to improve the outcome of patients with cancer while improving our understanding of methodologies for prevention. 4. Publication of educational materials on research, treatment and prevention of breast cancer for the public. 5. Support of efforts to promote hpv vaccination of at risk individuals to prevent cancer.
