We found our 2 German Shepherd mixes there. They were litter mates, yet very different. JJ was light brown, very thin. CC was shorter, robust. They lived with us for over 10 years, making us laugh. They now live in our hearts.
We rescued 2 German Shepherd mixes. They were litter mates. CC and JJ. They were from the same litter but very different dogs. As puppies, they slept together in one cage. As they grew, they shared the couch in the living room, one on each end. JJ had an eating disorder, an acl problem and a fistula. CC, on the other hand was very healthy. For 9 years, our dogs lived and played together. CC had black and brown fur colors, while JJ was tan all over. Then JJ begin to have arthritic legs and could not go up the steps to the first floor. We really miss him, he was a character. But we still have CC who is loving and loves to lick people's faces....go to Angel Ridge and rescue your very own friend. Or friends.
