Mission: AnewAmerica’s mandate is to enrich the cultural and economic transformation of America with the economic, social and cultural empowerment of new Americans (citizens, immigrants and refugees). Founded in 1999, New America addresses the need for new Americans to access the “system” so as to build the assets necessary to care for their families, positively contribute to their communities and effectively shape the future of their new country.
Target demographics: low-income new Americans (new citizens, immigrants, refugees) in search of economic stability and inclusion in the fabric of America.

Programs: AnewAmerica's program is an innovative, comprehensive 3-year training and business incubation program that includes business planning and management training, computer technology training, individual mentoring and start-up incubation services for new Americans planning to start a microenterprise. The matching funds savings accounts program provides savings incentives through Individual Development Accounts for capitalization of a microenterprise. All of AnewAmerica's training is centered around Social Responsibility training.
