I have been involved with AmigosNear Foundation for several years now, and an Ambassador and Volunteer. Together we have brought thousands of smiles for children in over 70 countries! The organization focuses on children who are in need of smiles, in orphanages or childrens hospitals - bringing food, clothing, and/or toys to them and their siblings - a smile goes a long way -- all the way around the world!

amazingly personal mission of the founder, javier maudet. motivates everyone to give their best to bring real joy even for that one moment when one gives the toys to the kids. we did so in the less fortunate outskirts of buenos aires, where people first looked at us with suspicion, why we are giving toys away out of 3 big bags. then everyone understood that Amigos Near really wants to d just that: be near people and bring a smile and a toy.

In December 2013 I was lucky to join Javier in Brazil. We visited a “favela” close to Maresias and we brought toys and foods to the underprivileged kids. It was an amazing experience to see the impact that the foundation Amigos Near had on those children! I truly support Javier and the team to continue with this incredible journey!

I had the possibility to donate and share an amazing afternoon on Tulum, Mexico with Amigos near and around 40 kids and it has been a great experience! Those kids loved the toys we gift them, the games we organized and the piñata!
Had an experience of a lifetime partnering with Amigos Near during a visit to Cayenne, French Guiana ! I also teamed up with a local foundation called Paloma de Luz, who works closely with families in Cayenne in need of food, clothes & toys. 2016| AMIGOS NEAR HELPS ARGENTINA.
Hello to all the supporters of Club Mascherano!!! Cordoba, Argentina.
On July 9th, Amigos Near, attended a scrimmage that was scheduled especially for us. Over 100 kids were present and they played games against 3 other soccer schools. Amigos Near brought them over $1000 worth of soccer equipment thanks to the contribution of many.
The kids wore their brand new jerseys with their very own club logo and of course, the Amigos Near logo as well, they used their brand new soccer balls which they were very excited about since the balls they were using were very worn out and they they were very excited about all the other goodies we bought for them, such as training pennies, training ladders, cones, etc.
The next step will be to build a gazebo for the club that will be used to store the equipment in a piece of land that was donated to the club. we are currently getting bids to see how much it'll be to build it.
I cannot portray how happy these kids were when I told them that in such remote place like the US, people knew who they were, people knew what Club Mascherano stands for, and people contributed so they can continue the work they do. #argentina #mascherano See Less

This charity is truly built from a vision that founder Javier Maudet had many years ago. He wanted to find a way to bring happiness to children in need or ill all over the world... and he did and does. I have been fortunate enough to not only see the light Javier shines on each child he has helped but also have been a part of the giving. From hospitals, to orphanages, to less fortunate children each visit is special and unique. We are able to see the faces of kids that are so happy and grateful to be thought of. The generosity/donations come in various gifts including, food, furniture, clothing, toys, outdoor play equipment, kitchen appliances, whatever is needed. As of today 65 countries have been touched by Amigos Near! Javier’s “tribe” of supports are a global group traveling for business or pleasure and while doing so take time to spread some love on behalf of Amigos Near... I personally have visited children in Cuba, Argentina, Japan, Miami, and several other places and the experiences are heartwarming. Our 11 year old twins have also shared these experiences and they continue to want to do more for kids because they too see the smiles we bring. I am beyond proud to call Javier one of the kindest souls I know and see that there is no end to what he will do to continue to share Amigos Near’s generosity around the world.

I experienced in person the amazing mission of Amigos Near when I traveled with them to Haiti, to bring help to children who where in need after loosing everything in the 2010 earthquake.

My wife and I made a trip to Paraguay and assisted in delivering toys, food, clothe and supplies to hogar Guadalupe, an orphanage in Asunción, Paraguay on behalf of the organization. Amigos Near Foundation is a wonderful charity assisting children in 60+ countries around the world be able to be experience how childhood was meant to be - With a Smile on their Face! The most recent endeavors I have partaken in with Amigos Near Foundation involved a toy drive so kids had gifts to open for the December Holidays and more importantly in 2020, a drive to get masks to children of at risk communities to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 global pandemic.

I have been a part of Amigos Near at their local events serving underprivileged children in the community. I was impressed at their level of excellence and dedication to make Christmas unforgettable to hundreds of kids who otherwise would have been left out of experiencing the joy of opening presents.
