An unbelievable program. Energy galore! This is the first "Jewish" program that ever made me feel alive and want to learn more about who I am and how I can best be connected to my people. I finally understand that Judiasm is not just about prayer and laws, it's out opening p my soul and understanding what God means to me in my everyday life.

Observing them in action recently at a High School, I was bowled over by the immediate reaction from the students. They kept on repeating, as if hynotised, "Wow" Never have I seen first hand an organization so successfully and succinctly put Jewish Identity into action!.

AMI is really filling a huge gap in Jewish education on many different levels. Participating in a workshop allowed me to connect to my own Jewish identity in a whole new way. I have had a rich Jewish education, including years of Yeshiva, but this fostered a connection on a deep neshama (soul) level. Also its positive approach to Judaism and Israel helped me to see Israel in a whole new light. We so often become absorbed in the negative aspects of Israel, Arab-Israeli conflict, divisions in Israeli society between religious and non-religous etc... that we forget all the great things that we have accomplished. Through the inspiring artists and musicians I, along with the others in the workshops, were able to appreciate the incredible creativity and explosion of modern Jewish culture happening in Israel today. Weeks after I attend a workshop I am on a personal high, infused with a positive energy about Israel and the future of the Jewish people. For this reason I agreed to join the Board of AMI and help to spread the positive energy.

I have seen a presentation about the AMI Neshima program in schools around Israel and was deeply impressed by the methods to inspire student to connect with their Jewish background. I wish the program lots of success and hope that it will get into more schools and other educational institutions throughout the country.
