Mission: Hostelling was started in Germany in the 1920s to take school children out to the countryside to experience nature. The International Youth Hostel Federation was an outgrowth of this movement. We are a member of this organization and hope to furnish inexpensive accommodations to the world traveler so that a greater understanding of the world's peoples can be accomplished.
